SugarShield provides AI-powered meal analysis, dashboard insights, history, AI Chef recipe suggestions, and optional report exports to support awareness of nutritional balance and glycemic risk.

3. Important Medical Disclaimer

SugarShield is an educational tool, not a medical device. The Service does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Do not use the Service for medical emergencies. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have a parent or guardian's consent.

5. Accounts and Access

We may provide access through anonymous authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and for all activity associated with your account. You agree to provide accurate information when requested.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (e.g., meal photos, ingredients, or support messages). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and analyze this content solely to provide, maintain, and improve the Service. You represent that you have the rights to submit the content and that it does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

7. Subscriptions, Trials, and Payments

Some features require a paid subscription. Payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their terms. Subscriptions may auto-renew unless canceled in the store settings. Free trials and promotional offers are limited and may be modified or revoked. Refunds are handled by the app stores, not by us.

8. Acceptable Use

• Do not use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes.
• Do not attempt to bypass usage limits, access controls, or security features.
• Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code.
• Do not upload content that is illegal, infringing, or harmful.
• Do not interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.

Our total liability for any claims arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 12 months before the claim (or USD 100 if you paid nothing).
